Joburg Market Seeks Cashiers

Purpose

Handle bulk cash transactions, manage cash receipts, and maintain daily cash balances. Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and recording various payments and cash transactions
• Managing the cashier area and ensuring stock availability
• Preparing daily cash reports and maintaining cash drawer balance
• Coordinating with CIT officers for cash handover
• Monitoring cash counts by the internal bank and reconciling daily
• Allocating sundry payments (trolley, electricity, rent)
• Assisting patrons with information and directing them to relevant offices

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• 6 months of cashiering experience
• Ability to lift heavy containers
• Proficiency in computer usage
