PetroSA Internship Programme 2023 (Finance, IT, HR & Audit)

By engaging in a ‘hands-on’, work-based, learning experience within the Petrochemical industry, students and graduates can better understand the theories, ideas, and practices of their respective disciplines and majors.

PetroSA Internship Programme 2023

Twelve (12) months are allocated to the internship programme in the following disciplines:

 Management Accounting X 2

The accounting department analyzes and provides cost information to the internal management in order to plan, organize, direct, control, and make decisions. Management can maximize the rate of return on capital employed by comparing the real performance with the budget and assessing it with the budget.

This course will expose you to the following:

  • Change Management
  • Organizational Development
  • Performance Management

Internal Audit X 3

Financial documents must be audited for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations by internal auditors. Reducing and mitigating financial risks for the organization should be identified and recommendations made.

Information Technology X 3

Assists organizations with maintaining their computer systems by providing maintenance, repairs, and support services. Install, troubleshoot, test, or maintain hardware, software, networks, and computer systems, and help roll out security features.


  • South African citizenship is required.
  • Academic qualifications/transcripts must be relevant and required.
  • Fit for medical purposes
  • PetroSA will only consider applications submitted through its Career portal.
