PPC 2024 Internship in Safety, Health, and Environment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting weekly environmental inspections at an operational level
• Capturing environmental issues on areas of non-compliance using Isometrix
• Facilitating environmental inductions and awareness in Slurry
• Advising management on environmental trends and compliance with legislations
• Researching site-specific environmental improvement information
• Implementing and controlling ISO 14001 effectively
• Collecting and recording sustainability data for reporting
• Timely reporting of environmental emergency incidents to management

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Environmental Sciences or Degree/Diploma in Environmental Management
• 0-2 years’ experience in Mining or Cement industry
