Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and suggesting procedures, preparing technical reports, and documentation
- Conducting technical evaluations to identify root causes and propose corrective actions
- Monitoring instruments, collecting operating data, performing calibration, inspections, testing, and repairs
- Analyzing and rectifying malfunctions in instruments and control systems
- Generating reports based on salvage tracking, trending, reporting, and root cause analyses
- Maintaining process designs to optimize facility usage while adhering to SOPs and GMPs
Qualifications Required
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- Trade Certificate of Competence in Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrical, Millwright
- Experience in maintaining earth-moving equipment in an underground mining environment
- Code 08 license
- Full physical and medical certification for working in a mining environment
