Senior Fraud Investigators At the Department of Employment and Labour
Requirements:
Three years’ relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk Management/ Internal Audit/ Risk and Security Management/Accounting/Law/Policing/Forensic Investigation/CFE qualification. I am ready to travel nationally (I possess a Code 8 driver’s license).
I have two years’ experience in antifraud and corruption. Knowledge: Investigative Principles and Practices, Departmental Policies and Procedures, Public Financial Management Act (PFMA), Unemployment Insurance and Unemployment Insurance Contribution Act, Basic Knowledge of all Labour legislation, Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policies, Legal environment:
Court and Criminal Procedures, Fraud related administration and operations, Batho Pele Principles. The following skills are needed: Planning and Organizing, Time Management, Conflict Management, Analytical, Investigation skills, Communication, Computer Literacy, Presentation skills, Communication skills, Report writing.
Duties:
Conduct fraud and corruption investigations on reported fraud and corruption, implement fraud and corruption prevention strategies, and analyze system capabilities for anti-fraud management programs. Coordinate Fraud Prevention measures with appropriate sections of the Department of Employment & Labour and external stakeholders. Supervise the Section’s resources.

The certificate is available at the NSG under the name Certificate for Entry into SMS. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical competency exercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job, the details of which will be communicated by the Department.
A selection panel will recommend candidates to attend DPSA SMS competency assessment tools to assess their generic managerial competencies following the interview and technical exercise. An internship performance agreement will be required of the successful candidate.
