Underground Mining Millwright Apprenticeships 2024 of AECI Mining
As part of the apprenticeship program, successful candidates will:
- Receive comprehensive training in the designated trade(s).
- Follow a formal training plan, making consistent progress towards achieving competencies outlined in the training program.
- Adhere to SETA requirements (Unit Standards) for the successful completion of the Apprenticeship program.
- Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures, ensuring adherence to guidelines, regulations, and legislation.
- Maintain medical fitness for work in a chemical environment, including tasks conducted at heights and in confined spaces.
Qualifications Required
To be eligible for the Underground Mining Millwright Apprenticeships, candidates must have:
- Mechanical Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- N3 Certificate with English, Engineering Science, Maths, and N3 Trade Theory.
- Unemployment status, aged between 18 and 25.
- Minimum valid Code B Driver’s License (advantageous).
