As a Maintenance Technician Team Leader for Battery Assembly, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing equipment in compliance with safety regulations.

The role involves maintaining equipment to specified standards, responding to production needs and equipment failures, and ensuring a high level of accuracy and safety in all duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read diagrams and schematic drawings for work procedures.
  • Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect and examine machinery for irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Adjust machinery and replace defective parts.
  • Operate machine tools for fabricating required parts during overhauls or maintenance.
  • Ensure proper functioning of safety devices post-repairs, modifications, and installations.
  • Sharpen and maintain machine tools.
  • Participate in the PM program for continuous improvement.
  • Keep detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
  • Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area.
  • Perform other assigned duties, including G8D and CCMD completions.

Qualifications

  • N4 Plus Trade Test Certificate (Millwright).
  • 2-3 years of Maintenance experience in the Automotive industry.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 13.5kg.
