Relevant NQF 6 qualification in Logistics management or equivalent 3-5 years relevant experience in Warehouse. Experience in distribution and stock control will be an added advantage.

2-3 years of supervisory experience. Computer literacy (MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint).

Duties

Manage stock effectively and make sure it is available for distribution to customers. To ensure that customer purchase orders and quotations are captured timeously Operational oversight and coordination of warehouse tasks Monitor and supervise warehouse personnel and ensure compliance with GPW Policies Develop and manage Inventory Control mechanisms in the warehouse Monitor and supervise warehouse personnel and ensure compliance with GPW Policies Maintain and monitor proper Document Control and monitor and reconcile all transactions. Assure that GG Fleet is monitored and trips are authorised, develop a distribution plan and route plan that is cost effective and efficient. Manage key accounts and resolve customer queries promptly. Ensure the performance of the 3PL in accordance with Treasury’s transversal contracts RT8 and RT5. Maintain a warehouse environment that adheres to health and safety regulations. Ensure that inbound and outbound stock movement is monitored and tracked. Ensure that bin locations are monitored and maintained on a regular basis. Ensure all Audit recommendations raised by internal audit and AGSA are implemented. Manage employee performance.
