Requirements
Education: Three (3) years in Economics/Statistics/Sociology/Psychology/Demography/Development studies. One (1) year of experience in Labour Market Research. One (1) year of supervisory experience and/or two (2) years of experience in Economic Development. Labor legislation and relevant policies, Analytical methods, Batho Pele Principles, Labour market dynamics, Research Skills: Analytical,
Assertiveness, Communication, Interpersonal, Interviewing Skills, Innovative, Creative, Data Analysis, Statistics and Research, Computer, Management and Leadership.
Duties
Coordinate provincial research processes to evaluate labour legislation’s impact on different stakeholders, and provide administrative support to the sub-unit.

Candidates shortlisted for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical competency test intended to assess relevant technical skills, whose logistics will be communicated by the Department.
Following the interview and technical exercise, the selection panel will recommend that candidates attend generic managerial competencies using the mandated DPSA SMS competency assessment tools. A performance agreement for the internship will be required of the successful candidate.
