Application Note

South African applicants do not need to provide passport numbers. It is therefore prudent for fields to be filled in and the form signed noting the importance of the declaration.

Candidates must respond “yes” or “no” to the question “Are you conducting business with the State or are you a Director of a Public or Private Company conducting business with the State?” If “yes”, the application must include details thereof. An applicant may indicate “not applicable” or leave the question blank if he or she is employed in the public service.

On application, candidates are not required to submit copies of qualifications and other relevant documents, but they must submit a completed and signed Z83 and detailed Curriculum Vitae.

The communication from HR of the Department regarding the requirements for certified documents will be limited to shortlisted candidates. Consequently, only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified documents on or before the day of the interview following communication from HR.

A copy must be submitted only if you are shortlisted as a non-RSA citizen or permanent resident. An evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) must accompany any foreign acquired qualification.

If you do not receive a response within three (3) months of the closing date of this advertisement, your application may be considered unsuccessful. Any of the advertised positions may not be filled and/or appointed by the Department.
