A draft National Labour Migration Policy (NLMP) has been developed by the Department of Employment and Labor.

Policymakers aim to implement effective overseas recruitment, facilitation, and placement of South Africans seeking work overseas, as well as their protection and integration into the job market upon their return.

Who can apply?

• South African Citizens

• No criminal records

• Suitable candidates will receive pre-departure training

• You must meet the minimum qualification requirements for the position you are applying for

Duration

• Work Permit for Critical Skills (2 years)

• Permit for General Employment (1 year)
