Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain front-end equipment.
- Replenish consumables and handle products and purchases.
- Handle customer transactions efficiently.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of checkout equipment and immediate spillage cleanup.
- Maintain organized packaging throughout the day.
- Present a well-displayed, clean, and tidy workstation.
Safety and Presentation Standards
- Adhere to store safety procedures and maintain a safe workstation.
- Secure personal belongings in staff lockers.
- Maintain a well-groomed and presentable appearance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate.
- Previous experience as a part-time cashier or trainee.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of the grain industry.
