Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

Control the scheduling, access, and movement of vehicles.

Ensure that activities are monitored in order to limit costs, improve quality, safety, and customer service.

If applicable, supervise the operation and maintenance of weighbridges.

Debottleneck loading facilities by performing ongoing improvements to logistics operations.
-
Support STO Logistics operations in implementing change.
-
Permit work and ensure safety of operations according to PSM, OHS 18000, and ISO 14000 standards.

Improve STO Logistics operations through performance management, gap analysis, redesign, and implementation.
-
Ensure that business rules, policies, and internal controls are adhered to.
-
Ensure that risk policies, SOX, and applicable regulations of the OHS act are adhered to.

Implement and improve transactional planning and execution systems by providing constant feedback on loading operations.
-
In this report, information data is loaded into decision support systems, performance measurement systems, and data analysis systems to serve those functions.

The creation and maintenance of master data records. The verification of the accuracy of relevant master data from loading operations.

Standardsize loading operations and ensure governance compliance.

Provide updated functional training to all loading operations resources.

Represent operations at appropriate forums and attend relevant meetings.

Safety and health practices should be aligned with safety standards.

Manage enterprise risk in accordance with Sasol Group’s risk philosophy.

Optimise logistics and transportation effectiveness by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and business units.

Formal Education

Matric/ Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical science or similar

NQF level 4 Chemical operation qualification
Min Experience

8+ years relevant experience in either road or rail loading environment
