South African Breweries (SAB)/ ABinBev 2023 Packaging Learnerships | Apply with Matric

The primary objective of this role is to offer learners the opportunity to enroll in a national certificate program for food and beverage packaging (NQF 3).

Successful candidates will undertake a one-year fixed-term contract that combines practical and theoretical learning, ultimately resulting in a national qualification.

A Learnership leads to a national qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
The qualification is based on SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) registered unit standards.
These unit standards are designed to reflect the value-adding skills needed in the workplace, encompassing outcomes and assessment criteria.
Competence is demonstrated in the workplace through various assessment methods, with the assessment criteria serving as the performance standard.

Responsibilities

Key roles and responsibilities within the learnership:

The learnership is a structured learning program that combines on-the-job and off-the-job learning within an integrated framework.
The off-the-job component focuses on the theoretical aspects of learning, while work-based learning offers the opportunity to apply the theory and gain additional practical experience.

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Minimum Matric qualification with Mathematics and English.
Technical courses (N3, N4, N5, or N6) will be advantageous.
Self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in teams.
