South African Breweries (SAB)/ ABinBev 2023 Packaging Learnerships | Apply with Matric

The primary objective of this role is to offer learners the opportunity to enroll in a national certificate program for food and beverage packaging (NQF 3).

Successful candidates will undertake a one-year fixed-term contract that combines practical and theoretical learning, ultimately resulting in a national qualification.

About the Learnership:

Additional information about the learnership includes:

  • A Learnership leads to a national qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
  • The qualification is based on SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) registered unit standards.
  • These unit standards are designed to reflect the value-adding skills needed in the workplace, encompassing outcomes and assessment criteria.
  • Competence is demonstrated in the workplace through various assessment methods, with the assessment criteria serving as the performance standard.


Key roles and responsibilities within the learnership:

  • The learnership is a structured learning program that combines on-the-job and off-the-job learning within an integrated framework.
  • The off-the-job component focuses on the theoretical aspects of learning, while work-based learning offers the opportunity to apply the theory and gain additional practical experience.


Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum Matric qualification with Mathematics and English.
  • Technical courses (N3, N4, N5, or N6) will be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in teams.
