South African Breweries (SAB)/ ABinBev 2023 Packaging Learnerships | Apply with Matric
The primary objective of this role is to offer learners the opportunity to enroll in a national certificate program for food and beverage packaging (NQF 3).
Successful candidates will undertake a one-year fixed-term contract that combines practical and theoretical learning, ultimately resulting in a national qualification.
About the Learnership:
Additional information about the learnership includes:
- A Learnership leads to a national qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
- The qualification is based on SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) registered unit standards.
- These unit standards are designed to reflect the value-adding skills needed in the workplace, encompassing outcomes and assessment criteria.
- Competence is demonstrated in the workplace through various assessment methods, with the assessment criteria serving as the performance standard.
Responsibilities

- The learnership is a structured learning program that combines on-the-job and off-the-job learning within an integrated framework.
- The off-the-job component focuses on the theoretical aspects of learning, while work-based learning offers the opportunity to apply the theory and gain additional practical experience.
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Matric qualification with Mathematics and English.
- Technical courses (N3, N4, N5, or N6) will be advantageous.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in teams.
