2024 Supply Chain Management Internship of the Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator
Duties and Responsibilities
- Procurement assistance aligned with OPFA SCM policies and legislation
- Contacting service providers for quotations and meetings as necessary
- Preparation of requisitions, purchase orders, and overseeing budget compliance
- Managing approval, placement, and follow-up of orders, ensuring timely delivery
- Feedback to end-users on procurement progress
- Serving as Secretariat for SCM Committees, facilitating submissions, and communicating bid outcomes
- Record-keeping, audit information preparation, accuracy confirmation of invoices, asset verification, and barcoding
- Compilation and submission of regular reports, attending to CFO requests, and handling ad-hoc tasks
Qualifications and Experience
- National Diploma, B-Tech, or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
